Laws and regulations

  • Union Customs Code (UCC)
    The UCC came into effect on October 30, 2013 and has been a mandatory law within the EU since May 1, 2016. It is the “rulebook” of European customs law. [more]
  • International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS)
    SOLAS ist the standard for safety on ships. This UN Convention was thoroughly revised for the last time in 1974. The “Verified Gross Mass” stipulation was recently added to SOLAS. [more]
  • Incoterms
    International trade would be far more difficult without Incoterms. This set of rules defined by the International Chamber of Commerce creates a framework for import and export activities. [more]
  • German Freight Forwarders Standard Terms and Conditions (ADSp))
    The ADSp 2017 is recommended for use from January 1, 2017 by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the Federation of German Wholesale and Foreign Trade (BGA), the German Association of Road Haulage, Logistics and Disposal (BGL), the German Association of Movers and Logistics (AMÖ), the German Association for Business, Transport and Logistics (BWVL), the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the Association of German Freight Forwarders and Logistics Operators (DSLV) and the German Retail Association (HDE). Current authorisations of ETS Transport & Logistics

  • AEO certificate “Customs Simplification, Security and Safety” (AEO)
    A company with the status of an AEO is considered to be particularly reliable and trustworthy, and can take advantage of special preferential conditions in areas such as customs clearance. We have been awarded the highest certification status of AEO C and AEO S. [more]
  • Regulated Agent Approved by the Federal Aviation Office
    Regulated Agents are logistics companies who ensure security checks for freight or mail. This means the freight of our customers qualifies for simplified customs clearance at airports. [more]
  • FMC-Registered NVOCC
    We are registered as an NVOCC – Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier – with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) via our subsidiary ETS Express Line Ltd. As a carrier for selected maritime shipping companies, we are in a position to provide our customers with cost-effective shipping space quotas. [more]

  • ISO 9001 certification
    ISO 9001 defines the minimum requirements for quality management systems. Companies must implement the stipulations in order to meet customer requirements as well as additional requirements in terms of product or service quality. [more]
  • International Featured Standards-Zertifizierung (IFS) Food
    IFS ensures that certified companies manufacture a product that complies with the specifications agreed with the customer and continuously work on improving their processes. [more]
